Jakarta, Indonesia – A specialized team recently visited a client’s waste sorting site in Jakarta to better understand local waste management challenges and operational conditions. During the on-site assessment, the team analyzed the composition of municipal solid waste, observed existing sorting practices, and evaluated site layout and logistics. Based on the findings, a customized waste sorting process was proposed to improve efficiency, recovery rates, and environmental sustainability. The recommended solution integrates pre-sorting, screening, wind sifting, and resource recovery stages, designed to adapt to Jakarta’s specific waste characteristics and the client’s operational goals. This visit marks a collaborative step toward supporting sustainable waste management in Indonesia, contributing to circular economy development and community environmental health. The proposed system aims to increase material recovery, reduce landfill reliance, and create cleaner, more efficient sorting operations—supporting both the client’s growth and local environmental objectives. Further implementation planning and technical support will follow in the coming weeks.
